Van M\u00fcze M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc’n\u00fcn i\u015fbirli\u011finde, kentin Gazi Mahallesi’nde 3 noktada 10 ki\u015filik ekiple kaz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fcklerini bildiren \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi Arkeoloji B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Prof.Dr. Veli Sevim, 3000-3100 y\u0131l \u00f6ncesine dayanan Urartular d\u00f6nemine ait toplu mezarda 20 insan iskeleti tesbit ettiklerini a\u00e7\u0131klad\u0131. Kaz\u0131 heyeti Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Prof.Dr. Sevim, mezar ve iskeletlerin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, erken demir \u00e7a\u011f\u0131na ait \u00e7ok say\u0131da demirden yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f kap, bilezik, y\u00fcz\u00fck ve han\u00e7erler bulduklar\u0131n\u0131 bildirdi. Prof. Dr. Sevim, kaz\u0131lar\u0131n Hakk\u00e2ri’nin tarihi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6nem ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 vurgulayarak, \u015f\u00f6yle konu\u015ftu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oda \u015feklinde yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 belirlenen mezarlara \u00f6lenlerin kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 e\u015fyalar ve tak\u0131lar da konulmu\u015f.
